This is the last week of my ride. 7 days from today, we will arrive in DC.
We need your involvement to make this happen! If you have a bicycle and live in the Northeast USA or anywhere else for that matter, join us as we ride into the nation’s capital on January 18th. The media will be covering the event, as well as there will be a celebration party in the DC area that night.
I want everyone to have the chance to be involved in this historic ride, and there are multiple individuals who I know would ride but they do not have bicycles in the area. For that reason I am starting a Bike-Share Program for next weekend.
If you live in Maryland or Northern Virginia and believe that you can lend your bicycle to a rider who wants to participate, please leave a comment below telling us what type of bike you have (size/style) and we’ll put you in touch with someone who needs the bike.
So far I am in need of three men’s bicycles, frame sizes 52-60 cm. I also have one rider who’s bike was stolen last weekend from her home in Philadelphia. She rides a 52cm.
Please participate in this extraordinary experience by lending your bike next weekend in Richmond VA and supporting this movement!
