So I’ve been off the radar for a couple months, a quick recap- I moved to Long Island New York and have been working in an after school program.  Anyways, a few weekends back I left my fixed gear bike locked up at a train station only to come back a couple days later and it was gone! I was heartbroken, because its my only form of transportation out here, and its a bike I built and painted by hand.

So on my two-mile walk back from the train station a couple weeks back I decide to take a shortcut through the supermarket parking lot and came upon my bike, resting on a curb outside the Liquor Store!  I hopped on it and rode home fast as I could!  Must be all the energy I had put into it that drew it back to me.  Anyways, I told the whole story to Bike Talk: an online Bike Radio program in Los Angeles.

Here’s my question for anyone reading this… Has anyone else ever had a reuniting experience with their two-wheeled best friend? I’d love to hear about it!  Tailwinds.
